  • Windy Day

It felt good to get out today and of course the wind always blows when I burn a vacation day. Tide was low, but the first stop gave us a few casts at some shallow redfish. The tough party was trying to position the boat to get a decent cast at them. Well.....they lived to see another day and what a blast trying to catch them. The next stop produced some sandies and a nice 24" redfish for dinner. Not a bad trip and I got to put some stress on my new rod.

Great looking Red! The wind was really pumping yesterday in the Upper Galveston Bay also.., felt like we were in the North Sea.

          Thanks for sharing.
