First trout on the YAK! 5/22

Me and my brother went out to harborwalk yesterday and the weather was welcoming. Finally got to take out my new kayak and test out my new trolley system and get a good solid feel for it. My brother, fishing on the banks, caught about 5 croaker, a few sting rays, and a couple of big ones that got away. He mainly used live shrimp and some gulp poggys. I ended up with a 23in trout (one of my personal bests yet) and caught it on ttf trout killer pumpkin seed/white belly and chart tail 1/16 jig head. Twas a great day for fishing and being on the water!

Cognrats on the first fish from the kayak! My first time out in a yak resulted in zero fish, and falling into an oyster bed. Second time was much better with some redfish on the half shell.
