10/4 and 10/5/09

Walked in Sunday night with my eldest son. When we got to our spot around 9pm the tide was moving and the trout were popping the top. We chunked tops and had blow ups but no hook ups. We caught dinks around 13" once we switched to plastics. Fished until 11 with no keepers but we had fun in the moonlight.

Monday, hit it around 10am solo and could only manage one keeper in Jones after hitting several spots. Picked up my cousin at fatboys at 2pm and went to greens and coves with no luck. Finally got into some action around confederate at sundown but all were undersized trout, sandies and one bull croaker. most caught on new penny gulp and bone assasins.

Try the Diversionary Canal next time......it's always good for a few flounder and it's protected.

I work just enough to pay for my fishing habit.
