I had decided to fish the FWE tournament a couple weeks back being fairly busy I etched out what time I could to prefish. As the tournament drew closer and temperatures continued to drop the quality of fish slowly began rising. Ended up with a few fish over the 6 pound mark and a decent amount of fish over 4 the whole week leading up to the tourney. Day before the tournament went for a full day grind resulting in one fish just a hair over 6 and not one other bite. Went into the tournament feeling rocky. Grinded out a solid 6 hours and threw in the towel with 3 fish from 3-3.5. Very tough bite. Seemed like every hit was really finicky. Full moon probably didn't help. Big congrats to all the guys that got on em in the tournament. Was a tough day perfect conditions finicky fish. Atleast where I was. Never fish the weekends so the zoo of people was a huge shock! I don't know how you weekend warriors deal with all the bozos out there but props to you! Hopefully I will see yal at the next one!
