After a 3 month absence from the water, I was finally able to get out for a few hours on Saturday.
After recharging all the batteries on the boat, I hit the water about 11:00 and fished until 3:00. Ended up with 6 trout from 17" - 21" including 2 at 20". Also threw back a few dinks and one good sized slimer (I hate those things).
All fish were caught drifting the mud slicks between about 1:30 and 2:30 and were caught on light colored assasins in 4'-6' over mud and shell.
It was great just being on the water again.
PS. Thanks to Coach for reminding me of this place. I see a lot of familiar handles.
