West Bay 8/9/16

Finally got a chance to get out this morning and do a little fishing. Pat came down to my canal home and we hit the water around 6:45. Light wind, decent water, little bait activity and water temp was 88.9.

First few spots produced Nada so went in search of slicks. Found a few and worked Char. Little John on an 1/8 oz and picked up a nice Spec

And a Red


Pat also had a Red. Mid morning the heat was getting to much and the bite was real slow so we headed in for a little AC. Still a fun morning on the water.

Nice report, Tom! I hear you on the heat. Superspook Danny and myself gonna hit it early Thursday morning. We've been on a little founder bite lately, over by 9:00 am. Lol
