west bay 2/13
Put the boat in the water around 8:30am and fished till my power plug to my trolling motor burned out ( to my regret) at around 12:00pm. Was able to scratch out 9 good trout up to 6.5lb. and one red at 23in. All the fish where caught on the same old Lake Fork Lure that I have been using this whole month. Bite was a little different today , almost all fish came on an outgoing tide instead of incomming. Water was a bomby 45.5 deg. and trout green. Best depth seemed to be in the 3' to 4' range over shell.

Thata suck the power plug burned up... But none the less a stellar day thanks for sharing it with us stuck at work...We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe! -

Thanks for the report !! Me and a friend fished West Bay ALL DAY without a bite... way cold water like you said. Nice results... I guess I shouldn't consider becoming a guide anytime soon !! LOL !!
