Three of us went out on the 16th. We fished hard on the South side with nothing to show. Went to the North side and picked up about 21 fish between the 3 of us in about 1.5 hours. 5 reds and 16 trout. Released a 8.5# 28.5" red as well as numerous rats and small trout. The rain was slow and steady.
On the 18th I got back out by myself. Started north with nothing, fished south and east - nothing, went back north around 11am and caught them steady for about an hour. No large trout, several small ones to throw back and one rat. Kept 1 red and 8 trout.
We had a big fish fry on Friday. An uncle hit 93 and we had a big party for him with fresh fish.
Earlier in the week had thrown a lot of tops but they did not seem quite ready for it. The 16th was plastic tails under a mauler. The 18th was plastic tails no mauler but they liked it jigged as if it was under a mauler.
