i was able to go fishing after i got off work...i decided i wanted to fish for red fish today so i went to my old red fish spot and fished the last 30 minutes of high tide and managed to catch a quick redfish limit on clown and bone ss jr and tried for trout but only caught one trout plus a flounder..i knew trout fishing this evening was gonna be really slow with no tide movement plus the wind were really high made the trout bite tough...So i went back where i was and caught so many more lower slot reds and lost count!! All were released to fight another day then called it a day around 7 30 pm..i fished the grass on south-shoreline around 1' to 2' with sand and some shell pods..redfish are thick right now!! hope the wind lay down some then trout will start heating up again!! clown and bone ss jr was the bait of choice...red fish were from 22" to 23" and one 15 1/2" trout plus a 19" flounder brought home for dinner!!
