Snuck out of work yesterday when it looked like it was going to be a nice day, still a tad cold and wind picked up a bit from SE in afternoon. Went back to where we picked up all those reds last weekend (ICW), and someone must have caught them all, because they were not there yesterday. Picked up a couple of 14 inch trout, first hardhead of the season, one slot red and one under, plus a couple of 5 inch sound trout that seemed to be pestering us and steeling our bait. Ended up working a shrimp Gulp along the bottom to pick up the reds, also missed a couple of reds late (5pm) working dead shrimp on the bottom. Lots of bait in the shallows. Have a good weekend.

At least you gave it a shot! We went out for a late afternoon/evening wade and it sucked as well. There is always next time!

Had the same results last night wading, too. Worse than a skunk...1 whiting caught and 2 stingrays snagged on a gold spoon, I hate them things...shuffle shuffle shuffle...Comment
