  • Blown out

West bay is blown out. Tried to go out this afternoon with my dad because he hasn't been out in awhile. I thought we would be able to find some fishable water back in the coves but that was mud too. Winds seemed to be out of the WNW @15-20.

    GOD BLESS AND GIG'EM!

I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.

Especially when you had 40 mph winds with gusts to 70 mph from another direction during the night.......

the highest wind we recorded here was 52 MPH at 1:40 a. Which is strong gale force winds.

Ok I exaggerated. It was only 69 mph.

Dang, that is a significant difference with what our gauge recorded. Need to look into seeing what it takes to get it calibrated. Thanks for the heads up. BTW, where is this gauge? I couldnt get there and look at all of its factoids.

Two beers, a trash can and moved my patio set all over the deck.

One of the JB VFD guys told me they registered a 72mph gust at City Hall.

I saw TTU wader go out and then come back in about 30 minutes so I knew it was bad out there.
