Excellent weather means excellent fishing. We smoked em again today but I didnt have kids today so we went to do some real fishing. I only hit 3 spots today and the first spot we only caught 1 trout and didnt stay very long. Our second spot we stayed at until 11:30. By 10 we had our limits and were just playing catch and release. By 11:30 we were so hot that we needed a boat ride 2cool off and we decided to go look for a few reds on our way in. We only managed 1 red because those darn 4 pound trout kept biting our baits. Big nasty voodoo shad was on fire today!!!!!! We went thru 5 bags and they were worth every penny. No wind whatsoever and the water was trout green today. A perfect day of fishing. I am expecting the same tomorow!!

The first pic is Ricks first trout ever and first ever fish on artificials. Talk about spoiled!!! It weight 6 1/2 pounds. We caught 3 over 6 pounds today.
