5/22 tourny report

fished for a while with plastics and there was alot of bait around but never got a hit. tried a topwater for the heck of it and 2 nd cast boooom!!! good fish on. get it up and its about 25" so back she goes since she is over 21" couple casts later booom! bigger fish on. got it up to me and it was about 28" then she just pulls off right in front of me!!!. looked at my topwater and one of the back treble hooks broke off, that sucks!!! caught one more undersized trout on a plastic and took a break. went back out to a new spot and caught 2 undersized reds and an undersized flounder on plastics. other than that i saw a 5' bull shark suface 10' from me so it got my blood pumping. those were the only bites i had all day!!

got an invite to come night fish and stay at san luis pass rv park that night so i did and ended up with 1 16" trout and lost a good trout on the lift up.
