  • 6-19 South Shore

We hoped in on the south shoreline at about 5:30pm Dad thought the fish were to the right I tought they were to the left turned out I was right. the tide was really low and the water was pretty sandy. Noticed a lot of big wind blown slicks but not many fresh ones their was a lot of active bait. The fish were vary scattered we'ed catch one then wade a ways and get another one. We caught 3 trout lost a few more most were around 20" and skinny. Also lost a good red. All fish came on plastics wading thigh to waist deep water released all the fish except one that swallowed it. Stopped fishing around 7:40pm and headed home.

Nice job Troy..... It was a tough bite for us yesterday. The morning tides are really sucking right now. Saturday was good though, I bet we caught over a hundred Trout at the rocks.
