July 5th in west bay
Slept in and didnt get on the water until around 2 o'clock...first me and my buddy hall put in at fat boys bait and tackle, then ran down the Intracoastal to carancua and fished for about an hour and a half just trolling the shorelines with plastics. We picked up a 22" redfish and a nice flattie, then decided to run right on the other side of the intracoastal to the grass flats and waded until about 8 picking up 5 keeper trout to 21" and and called it a day. Best baits were morning glory with chartreuse tail texas assassins and new penny gulps.
