Went out this morning with my dad for a little wading. Fog was pretty thick and never really cleared up. We were wading the south shoreline in 2-2 1/2 ' deep water and ended up with 3 trout a red and a flounder. Water looked great, not to clear with about a foot of visability. At first we were catching a bunch of reds (mostly rats) on topwaters in 2' of water. After awhile I slowly waded off to some deeper water and thats where the quality fish were. My dad and I started hooking up right away throwing corky devils and bass assassins. Big mistake was my dad promised my mom we would be home at a certain time so we had to leave during the peak of the bite! Anyways the highlight of the trip was when my dad hooked into a solid fish on a corky, he's thinking its a big trout until it surfaced and its a nasty ol black drum!!!
