I decided to hit on of the back lakes this morning for some redfish. I slept in so did get on spot until 8:00.
It wss so still the reds were being really spooky. I knew they were there because I could see them. I worked a shoreline for an hour with no luck. Finally a breeze kicked in and things immediately improved.
I ended up with three reds: 23", 26" and 34". I kept the little one for dinner tonight.
The 34" weighed in at 9.5 lbs on the Boga and is my PB for a bay-caught red. He was a hoss and gave my 50MG and light action Waterloo a workout.
