I took a co-worker for some fishing lessons for a couple of hours yesterday after work.We had 4 slot reds 22-27 inches and 4 trout 20-24 inches. We were fishing protected shorelines around big pods of bait and pelicans.The tide was moving good and we had a good bite on the rising moon.It sure was nice to have some East in the wind for a change. Not only did it cool the afternoon off a bit,but it allowed the water to clear up nicely.Sorry no pictures this trip,lurefisher my camera and beer drinking rasta

Good report Rick, There was an major feed that ended at 4 PM, and a minor at 8 AM. I didn't have any luck that morning.

Yea Steve, I saw that.We didn't start fishing till 5:30 and ended at 7:30,I bet it was real good earlier in the day.They were hitting as soon as we got there.

Good catching. I struggled this afternoon 2:00-6:00. Had one red and one trout on SS jr. Water was better when the tide started coming back in.

we've been scratching out a few reds and trout drifting and throwing shrimp under a popping cork. i had an oversized one today cut me off on my trim tab. it was a beautiful fish. hell on reels and i boxed a pair of 6 lbs reds and 4 trout the last couple of days. lots of throwbacks.
