Windy!

My wife & I planned to go yakking & fishing yesterday at GISP. I knew it was going to be windy, but it must have been 25 knots! We paddled about a bit and then gave up for wading. Wandered around Dana cove and fished with live shrimp, spooks, corkys and soft plastics. I got 2 bites, but caught more grass than anything else. I think I'll try it again when there's less wind..

BTW: wasn't a total loss: kept what was left of the live shrimp for a snack!

Yeh the wind was up,if the news says 15 to 20 you add them together it is more like it.

I was out there in my yellow mini-x. Were ya'll two paddling hobies w/ mirage drives?

I got 2 keeper specks and lost a nice one.

We've got a couple of little 9' red comet sinks. I think the name is speediest part about them!
I know I was supposed to spend a little more money on a yak, but the price on these was too good to pass up. I'm sure I'll be throwing a ton of cash at them rigging them well.
