  • Sunday Afternoon Drift

I went out in my fishing partners boat this afternoon to drift upper bay shell. It was a little windy but not "sit down fishing" windy. The tide was high but moving and the water was beautiful. I picked up a small keeper-size trout second cast.
We caught scattered trout to 3# os so, and I jigged up two upper slot reds.
My daughter called and said is was really raining in Jamaica Beach, but we were catching a few fish so we stuck around......then it rained!
Now I'm home warm and dry with a nice hot coffe and the chicken noodle soup is almost ready. Life is good

good job on the fish kenny.

I think Im going to insist on everybody drinking coffee and chicken noodle soup next time they come down. it would probably save me a ton on inside house repairs and reputation in the point san luis subdivision.

Thanks for the report kenny-had to be cold running in.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
