Decided to give it a shot this morning before all the festivities begin. Started out wading a mud/shell shoreline. There was a few mullet flipping so I grinded it out for about an hour. Picked up 3 trout all around 18" , don't need trout right now so they went back in the water. Decided to make a move to a shallow flat and the reds everywhere. Caught 10 reds, 5 which were keepers. The small ones had a lot of fight in them, it was a blast. They all came on "chicken on a chain" bass assassin. Strung a limit that will go to making some seafood creole. O ya, my dad was throwing gulp and was snakebit hehe.

Forgot the conditions... Water temp was 68, tide was about a foot above normal and the winds were south around 15 which later increased to around 20.Comment
