Left the Fly rod at home and took out the Levelwind yesterday.I was pinned to the south shore by very high winds mixed with some rain and fog.Tides were very high so I was able to get way back into some marsh areas and calmer waters. It paid of with a total of 14 reds from 17 to 28 in.All fish were caught on the Mauler w/ red & white tout tail.Check out the eel that one of the reds ate.

Way to go Joe!! I was wondering if you even ventured out in that crap yesterday. Later half of this week looks much more conducive to long rod adventures. I will be on the water Thursday and Friday for sure. Give you a shout this weekend and see if we can get there Sunday or Monday.http://www.theshallowist.com

Heck of a catch Joe!! Neat eel-makes ya wonder why we don't see them except in bellies."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
