Chocolate Bayou 5/1/11

The fishing in the bayou was dead slow today. My wife and I fished from 10-3 and only landed two. Candace caught a red and I caught a sago palm clipping. As if the fishing was not bad enough, here come the wakeboarding boats and jet skis zig-zagging all over the damn place with ZERO regard for the fishermen in the area before them.

Halls Bayou is sounding real good right now.

Its that time of year for them to come out,thats why I like to fish in the winter time. Glad to see you got out.

Glad you got out. Fishing's been tough lately. I may have to head up to your neck of the woods and see if I have any better luck.

Jet skis make your drag go "zingggg" but usually end up breaking your line!! As far as I know, there is no limit on how many you can hook!
