google woody's on the bayou. I think thats the name of the bar/cafe on the horshoe. I see many fishing from the pier and bank there.

I think thats the one i go to all the time do u have to pay 4 dollars there to fish if so i been there alot never did to good out there

the park on bastrop bayou can be good with live mullet.

The clay banks past the park at bastrop only daylight hours though sun up to sun down

May I suggest a second hand kayak and life vest. Biggest bang for your $$ around here if you are fit enough for it, as I am not
