6/9 Evening Report - reds and birds working

Donna got home from work and she has been hearing me talk about fishing all week, so after picking up the boat today (THANK GOD!), she wanted to head out and get some fishing in. Hit the water around 5:30 and made our way to Chocolate. First drift caught 1 keeper trout and red. Saw lots of birds working, so we made the decision to chase them for awhile, but nothing but dinks. Went to another spot we have been drifting lately and we started hooking up with reds right away. Ended the day there with 5 reds (2 keepers) and 2 keeper trout. Donna landed this nice red, made her walk around the boat twice!

Good week of fishing, heading out of town to see the IRL race this weekend. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
