  • No not mermaids

Anyone ever try to eat a lady fish? No not a fishy lay.....I call them lady fish but they look like a baby tarpon. I caught a 23" lady fish past Lutes the other evening. Let her go but jeez she felt thick. Just wondering if they were eatable.

Nope-their meat is purple-be like a Crevalle but worse. Poor Man's Tarpon is another name for them-sure are great fighters, but worthless to eat. Cut pieces make great shark and redfish baits.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Great tarpon bait and trolling bait for sails, etc. in Florida. Call 'em "tourist tarpons".
