First fish with lures

My brother was in town from college and wanted to go fishing. I was kind of nervous because i havent really been on the fish but was hoping to see some birds working. We left the bridge at sunrise and i was in search of some birds but didnt find any. I saw some bait moving and decided to drift that area. My little brother never fishes and this was his first time to throw a lure. I showed him how to work it and it wasnt long till he got his first bite. He pulled in a small red and was really excited to have caught a fish on a lure. We pulled in more small fish on that drift. I did hook up on a BIG flounder that pulled drag and everything but spit the hook before it came up next to the boat. He ended up with 1 keeper trout 2 rat reds and a 14in flounder. It wasnt the best day of catching fish but we had a blast catching up and talking about when we were kids.

Cool bro! I only remember my first "keeper" speck caught on a jighead and white TTF trout killa. FWE member stingray put me on the fish.

I saved the lure for a couple of years as a goodtime reminder.
