Took two buddies who have never caught flounder before to the area i've been hitting up the last couple weeks. I wonder if they are moving out of the area as they were not stacked up like the past couple weeks but they were still there and we were able to scratch out 2 limits. My buddies each caught a limit and I brought nothing home.. But still satisfying as they were happy as can be to catch a couple! One of them had a slam on the stringer but after measuring the red @ the boat it came in just under 20 so it was freed to live for another day.
I wonder if they are just moving out of the bay or if it was just too warm. Launched around 6am and off the water by 9:30.. all caught on new penny gulp.
