I took my wifes grandfather fishing Sunday. He is 70 years young and gets aroung better than I do. Anyways, it was a blast being on the water with him. We drifted and used the trolling motor all morning. Ended the day with 8 trout to 21.5"s and 1 red 20.5"s.
We made three stops and caught fish at all locations. We had a lot of dinks, but it was a blast seeing him reel in a 20" trout. We should of had probably 15-16 trout, but they kept coming unbuttoned. We used a slow retrieve with a jerk bait in about 2 to 2.5ft of water.
