Well I finally made it out to the water again and my brother and good friend joined me. The water looked great and the winds were not to bad yesterday. There is a lot of bait showing up in the bay right now and it should not be long till it really turns on. If you are going to fish I would suggest hitting it the next two days.
We caught only a few trout but tons of reds. My brother and I limited and our friend managed to scratch out one keeper. All fish were 20 1/2" to 24"s - perfect for my grill tonight. We caught fish all over the bay from birds to grass shorlines. I burned a lot of gas just looking around for bait and to see how the bay system was looking (lookin good!!).
Fish caught on plastics with 1/16 ounce heads.
