  • 6 weeks off to turkey hunt and BACK on slabs ... !

    Unfortunately, it might be my boat's last trip under my ownership ... ***sigh*** ...

    Tops and tails, new moon bite on a sandy shoreline. It's starting to get to where presentation and color don't matter much if you're there at the right time, but ... I will say benthic make-up is starting to get huge right now. We strung these 17 in about 45 minutes and left them biting. 3 of these fish are 17" ... the rest are a solid 3.5 - 5 lbs. to 26". Good to be back in the water.

                Three of em ... ! I'll post up some pics in the hunting section ... spent most of the season calling for some first time hunters, we had a great season.
