I saw a bunch of fish brought in on Saturday....
Most had issues with finding any good trout in Chocolate, but that was not the case for Reds and flounder.
Chandler and his buddy both had limits but they were not in chocolate.
My boat had 7 reds, 3 specs ,and 1 flounder
I had a limit of reds, caught in a variety of places.
The bayou was in much better condition than the bay, but I dont expect it to stay that way, as the rice farmers are about to do their big release of water into the bayou.
Once that happens, the fresh water will stay on top, and salt down low.
Fish will still be there, but under the fresh, and it wont look good.
Tons of reds are still up there, and with the bait being everywhere we went I expect them to stay up there all summer.
