Well despite the wind i couldn't stand not going to chocolate, its been way to long. Got to the ramp about 830 and noticed how up the tide was. launched the boat and headed for one of my favorite shorelines. Started throwing a spinner bait and it didn't take long for a rat red to pounce on it. Picked up 2 more in the next hour or so, biggest went 19 inches.
Then i made a couple of long drifts throwing cork/plastic combo, no takers. Third stop was a small bayou, about 50 into it i picked up 2 small trout. Tried a fourth spot, but the wind was getting to brutal for me.
Off the water in time to watch the Texans....all in all not a bad day.

It's just fun to get out and catch as well as fish.Is that a morning glory in the red?The texas roach and COchain has been working for me.
