Well after Saturdays fiasco, blown power steering line and a flat on the truck, trailer lights on the boat. I was ready to go on Sunday. Got to 2004 around 10 and went south into the wind and white caps. A tip from Gulfcoast13 led me to my first stop. The wind direction was right, just blowing to hard to make a good drift. I did attempt a drift and did manage a good bump, but that was it. Spot #2 i was able to make a good drift but not even a bump.
Now at spot #3 within 10 casts i have a dink slam. I stay in the area and make a 500yd drift and end up with 1 flattie, 5 reds, and bunch of trout. The flattie, 1 red and 2 trout were keepers. Early afternoon i made a run up the bayou, went as far as goat ally and couldn't find anything. Off the water around 2 pm.
