Made the trip to Chocolate this AM. Got a pint and few arties that I had just purchased wanting to try.
Tried drifting 1st off and no keepers. Action was slow. No birds but Sandhill's goin over.
Moved to flounder hole and snagged 2 11"-12" and couple of small trout and 1 small Red. No biggie.
Switched over to long leader and shrimp and smaller hook and free spooled the reel hoping to catch a larger flattie.
No luck with the Slabs but the 12-18" Blk Drum kept me interested. Few smaller but I believe I could have filled a chest. Didn't keep nothing but a hurt pride and a strong desire to go back tomorrow.
Ran out of baits and left.
Lots of boats out so maybe someone connected.
