Fought the wind Friday morning, fished the back of a deep drain & got a 24" flounder on an incoming tide.. moved out to the front of the drain, tide was moving stronger than I thought it would against the wind. I was throwing a Sand Shad in Margarita, 1/8 oz. Around 10am the trout lit off and I quickly caught a 24" & a 19" I had a couple of wind knots to get out so I took about 10mins.working on em and went back to fishing. 1st cast after my break a monster hit! New personal best 27-1/2" 7.8 lbs.
