  • Limit-2 on mud minnows

Frau and I got a late start and didn't hit the bayou until 1000hrs. Gazillions of boats.
Landed a 24" but that was all other than way more than enough croaker for supper. The 24" went back in for another day. He had some hook tracks in his lower lip so he gave someone else a tug earlier. The wife hooked a nice trout but we flipped it over the side also. I was sure praying she would have made a connection on a slot fish.Click image for larger version

Curmudgeon, that SanDiegoJamminKnot on the terminal tackle held up. Good tip.
Pulled a party barge back in to the Horseshoe and gave that 30hp Black Knight a workout.

What did the water look like? Pretty muddy looking up where I am.

The water is nice where I fished in chocolate the last few days.
