  • Chocolate Bay Sunday Afternoon 10/19

Fished Chocolate for the first time in 6 months. tide was pretty much slack the whole time I fished, 3:30-7:30. Shrimp under a cork, threw some arti's too. I stopped at 5 different spots, caught fish everywhere- pretty much all dinks except one 16 inch keeper and one good sized sheepshead that we released. Sight casted to a pod of redfish, they were't really eating. Probably caught 50-60 fish between my brother and I, finally found a flock of birds working and it was all the 12-14 inch trout you could handle. Love fishing chocolate I just can't manage to find any keeper trout there.

I know they don't leave you anything to take home right now, but the dunks say a lot for the future of that fishery.

Thanks for the report . Where are the legal trout !? Whats going on ? Did all the sand trout and small trout organize and run off the bigger trout ? Weird .
