Put in from 2004 and hit the reefs across from the windmill first. Something blew up on my favorite top-water and broke me off. Not a good start. I've had that TW for years. Bite slowed down there after putting 3 in the box. Headed on to one of my favorite bayous and limited by 10am. Still biting strong when I left. Gave my catch to a guy celebrating his 49th wedding anniversary by wetting a line from the shore by the ramp (by himself); she clearly understands his condition after 49 years. We made each other's day with fish and conversation. Back home in Fulshear; boat washed and stored by 2pm. Winds were NOT 5-10 as forecasted, but I've come to expect that from NOAA. Plenty of salt back up the bayous in case anyone was wondering, I was.
