Got out there just a little late and found aqua water at Wharton Camp Bayou Reef Flats. Bite was over by 0800hrs. Kept 3 bleeders for my neighbor that were skillet sized and pitched the rest. No reds but 1 beautiful lady fish that put on a show. Best part of the morning watching her.
Chocolate still pretty fresh out to about the 30th buoy.
Also fished close to 12th buoy at the houses and western reef. Lots of dinks but just a few around 20" early on.
Chased the birds but gave up on 2 bunches. My stealth days are over and I hate the gulls.
Pinky Sized Jumping Prawns were the breakfast cereal of choice for all.
