How is the Bayou looking?

I know there are NFIC but what about the bayou? Thinking about trying it out in my yak. Plan on launching at Lute's. Should I go South or North of Lute's?

I'm a 20 min boat ride up the bayou from Lutes. The water here is high and muddy looking. Got tons of gar in the lights at night. I'd put in at 2004 bridge. Might find better water there.
