Coe what would run better pd or the ranger ghost its a skiff
Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
The Ghost will be more stealthy and pole better, track and not make as much noise as the aluminum hull mud motor setups when you are poling a flat. The mud motor will get you shallower in MUDDY conditions. Sand is not friendly to any hull and a Mud Motor does not drive over sand.
For around here, for mud motors, I'd look at Gator-Tail.
My cousin runs a 22' Gator Trax with a 35 hp Mud Buddy with twin carbs...it runs awesome. I do find it's more difficult to pole, especially in the wind. Eventhough they won't run on sand or oysters, I do feel a lot more comfortable knowing I won't rip a lower unit off if sh** hits the fan.
come september i wouldn't venture into any back water lake, marsh or shoreline until well after 10am. This is for your own safety. We anglers live in fear of those duck hunters and bb's flying over our heads!
If you thought trout fisherman were finicky about potlickers... You haven't met a west end waterfowler!
It's not worth fishing in there. You will eat up your hull and prop on oysters. Besides it's next to the toxic mud site, who would want to fish near toxic mud?
