The Ghost will be more stealthy and pole better, track and not make as much noise as the aluminum hull mud motor setups when you are poling a flat. The mud motor will get you shallower in MUDDY conditions. Sand is not friendly to any hull and a Mud Motor does not drive over sand.

For around here, for mud motors, I'd look at Gator-Tail.

My cousin runs a 22' Gator Trax with a 35 hp Mud Buddy with twin carbs...it runs awesome. I do find it's more difficult to pole, especially in the wind. Eventhough they won't run on sand or oysters, I do feel a lot more comfortable knowing I won't rip a lower unit off if sh** hits the fan.

I heard that it's Rollo's test track for his bottom massaging business.

It's not worth fishing in there. You will eat up your hull and prop on oysters. Besides it's next to the toxic mud site, who would want to fish near toxic mud?
