Fished East Matty yesterday, started in live oak to find no bait, headed to the south shoreline, both places I wanted to fish were occupied so I headed further down, the bay. Found some bait in a cove past hog island, jumped out of the boat, within 50 yards from the boat in back to back cast's I caught two nice trout, both caught at the end of my cast with awesome tail slappen action, one fish was 23 inches and weighed in at 4lbs and the other was 6lbs almost 26 inches. a few sweet moments on the water.
Caught a few redfish for the grill too

Yep, broken back pink corky, sad to say, I couldn't release her. Both fish thumped it hard
