I need one too according to my mechanic. I turn about 4900 rpm wide open and he says I need about 5400-5600 on my 90 etec. I'm just gonna stick it out with what I have for a while -- 600 bucks aint happening right here at Christmas.

Its pretty crucial to the life of your engine to using the right size prop to be running the proper RPMs. You will get the best all around performance and longer life outta your engine from not "lugging" it out. Mainly on 2 strokes which have high carbon deposit. I had the wrong prop on my motor when i purchased it. I went through 2 props before finding the sweet spot. Hole shot is amazing now that i have the correct pitch/size!
                          Don't follow my boat......I don't catch fish......
