I don't generally use the deep cycles on the main engine only on the TM -- Go over to Golden Eagle in Alvin and have em fix you up with one. Unless it's under warranty -- in that case I'd swap it with one from the place you got it.Shut up and FISH!!

It really depends on the size of the motor. Obviously, a small motor cranks easier than a big motor. I always have 2 batteries because it sucks to be stranded.
If the battery cranks the motor, you're fine, deep cycle or not."I love this country, it's the government I'm afraid of!"

Use a cranking battery for starting and deep cycles for trolling. I suggest you get a glass mat or gel starting battery-they are expensive but last and can take a beating."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
