Q about beachfront at jetties

I am going to the jetties this weekend and was wondering about the beachfront on the other side of the cut. I figure there shouldn't be many waders on that side.
Anyone have any warnings tips or tricks for fishing this area? I've never fished the surf from a boat and only fished it a couple times wading

You speak of the Bolivar Pocket.

You can figure on there being waders everywhere since it's a calm weekend in the Summer that has had a month of crappy weather beforehand.

Same advice as for all surf fishing. Key in on nervous bait, structure. Don't be afraid to move around.

I was on my way to Bayou Vista 2 hours ago and 1 of the tires on my truck started coming apart so i limped it back to the house. Planned on a jettie trip this morning, i was excited all week about going but ended up getting a call at midnight from a stranded buddy that was broke down and didn't get to bed till after 3
