Bryan at Evans Marine installed mine on a 2008 20 skeeter baypro-no issues at all.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
follow up to my comment. I'm not meaning to come across as negative. The people there were very nice. Externally the power pole was installed just fine. During the process an employee broke my back hatch cover while installing the hydraulic pump (brand new boat). Was told they would replace it (no big deal). Left my information and waited for three months; nothing. Went fishing anyway. Dropped the power pole and it worked fine on the way down. Tried to pick it up and nothing; opened the back hatch to inspect and found hydraulic fluid all over the place. Employee didn't tighten the tubing connections correctly to the hoses. Had to piece it back together with channel locks to get the pole in the upward position. Ended up calling the manufacturer of the boat and had my hatch cover in two days.
You can install yourself if your comfortable drilling a few holes.
I've actually got an extra Pro II power pole and jack plate mounting bracket I'll sell you if you want to do it yourself (or carry it to a dealer and have them install)
