Looking for help navigating Jones Lake from Bayou Vista...any reply is greatly appreciated.

I am new to this forum, but I have fished Jones lake many times on my Kayak. Hopefully you can a better response than what I can offer, but being as it has been almost 2 months and no response has been made I will offer what advice I have. If it is WINDY and if the TIDE is out or down then STAY AT HOME. Otherwise ... go slow and run the depth finder obviously until you successfully find a good line to take. Also I have seen logs and debris in the water all over from Jones to Stingaree Marina so always be looking in the water ahead ... other than that ... check out the image I tried to create for help. -

I wish I had something to tell you, but I’m a wadefisher. You might search the forum for posts about Jones.
