Good point Gilbert, you know those bigger trout hang on the edges and something cruising through the dark water with a glow would get my attention

Well, here is an update. I fished the under water light a couple of houses down using a paddle tail power bait in a glo color. Saw a couple of nice size fish around 8:00, so I started throwing and after the second cast, I nailed a 23" 6lb red. He fought like hell, but he is in the cooler for dinner tomorrow night.
I am hooked now and thanks AP for recommending the glo with paddle tail.
I took a picture using my phone, so I will post it later.LIVIN THE SALT LIFE

Fished under the light last night again and I let the wife do more of the throwing, so she can catch something. First cast and she catch a 18" red, which was released. Saw several more large fish at the same light, but no takers. Drank alot and went to bed around mignight.LIVIN THE SALT LIFE

The lights are tricky... once you catch a fish you have to let it warm back up for 10-15min. I've found that during commercials I can walk down stairs throw a line in catch a fish release it try a few more times and then go back inside, next commercial walk down do it all overWe are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!
