      Hey Jerry,
      Convert!!!! I'm going to build my next batch out of Metal Hallaid (sp.) You can get a smaller bulb with more wattage, plus you can get many different wattages dependign on what you want.

        I used to own part of a company that did low voltage landscape lighting and thought that would be perfect for this. Much better from a safety standpoint- Just haven't had time to jack with it.

          The old florescent ballasts were full of PCBs and that is why they don't make them like that anymore and are hard to get.
